Assists Eden Lodge Primary School

The Barbados Defence Force Community Outreach Programme recently aided the Eden Lodge Primary in its learning and beautification project. Personnel from the Barbados Coast Guard (BCG), painted and organised classroom spaces before the start of the September 2018 school term. Members of the BCG were proud to make a tangible contribution to the school and ultimately to the student body.   The project formed a part of the BCG’s military assistance to the civil community (MACC) efforts to mark the 11th Anniversary of the commissioning of HMBS PELICAN.  MACC efforts are traditional and significant undertakings of military forces worldwide where they help bond individual servicepersons and units with the populations and nation states which they enjoy the privilege of serving.   BCG’s OS Mayers D
